Our Story
Small brand, big shringar dreams
Solah Singar started with one simple observation: the jewellery a woman loves to wear shouldn't have to sit locked away for “special occasions” — and it shouldn't cost like gold to feel like gold.
Why we exist
Walk through any Indian market before a festival and you'll see it — the pull of a beautiful jhumka, a perfectly matched necklace set, a payal that sounds like celebration. Real gold and silver put most of that beauty out of everyday reach. Imitation jewellery closes that gap — the same craftsmanship of design, the same joy of wearing, at a price that lets you say yes more often.
Solah Singar exists to make that yes even easier. We handpick artificial jewellery — earrings, necklace sets, bangles, maang tikkas, anklets and more — from trusted jewellery makers, check every piece ourselves, and bring it straight to you through the two apps you already use every day: Instagram and WhatsApp.
The name: Solah Singar
Our name comes from solah shringar (सोलह श्रृंगार) — the sixteen traditional adornments with which Indian women have celebrated beauty for centuries, from the bindi on the forehead to the bichhiya on the toe. It's a tradition that says adornment isn't vanity; it's joy, identity and celebration.
We chose the name as a promise: whatever the occasion — a wedding, a pooja, an office day or just a good-hair day — there's a piece of shringar for it, and we'll help you find it.
How we work
We're deliberately an online-first, chat-first brand. No showroom rents, no middlemen — which is exactly why our prices stay honest. Here's our working style:
- We curate, piece by piece. Designs are handpicked from trusted manufacturers and wholesale markets known for quality imitation jewellery.
- We check before we ship. Plating, stones, clasps and finish — every piece is inspected before it's packed.
- We sell where you chat. New designs drop on Instagram; orders, questions and styling advice happen on WhatsApp — with a real person, not a bot.
- We're growing thoughtfully. A full online store on this website is part of the plan. For now, we'd rather perfect the collection and the service first.
Our motto
“Sixteen adornments, one belief — every woman deserves to feel celebrated, every single day.”
What we stand for
- Celebration over occasion. You don't need a wedding invite to wear something beautiful.
- Honesty in pricing. Fair prices, told to you upfront on chat — no inflated MRPs, no fake discounts.
- Quality over quantity. A smaller, better collection beats an endless scroll of lookalikes.
- Tradition with trend. Rooted in solah shringar, styled for 2026.
